Zag's career began at the ground level — and that's not a footnote, it's the foundation. Starting in entry-level security work, he didn't wait for opportunity to be handed to him. He studied, applied himself, and progressed through the ranks of one of the most demanding professional fields in the world, eventually earning international recognition as a board-certified security management expert.
That journey wasn't linear, and Zag is honest about that. Like any leader worth trusting, he's learned from setbacks, grown through challenges, and emerged with the kind of authentic perspective you can't buy with a diploma or inherit from a last name. His work with Proteus PS reflects that evolution — an organization built on the same values he brings to this campaign: discipline, integrity, and a genuine commitment to protecting others.
But it's not his professional record that drives him to run for School Board — it's being a father in St. Lucie County. He sees a system where budgets are bloated in the wrong places, where parents are talked over instead of listened to, and where not every student has a real pathway to the life they dream of. That's not acceptable to him.
Zag doesn't think in party lines. He thinks in outcomes. He doesn't measure success by how things look on paper — he measures it by whether children are actually better prepared for the world when they walk out those school doors.
He's not here to make a career out of this. He's here because it matters — and because our kids deserve someone in that room who will fight for them the way a protector fights for what he loves.
